Have you ever been on your way out the door and realize that you need to fix a hem on your pants or skirt? Or maybe you borrowed the perfect outfit, but it’s just a little too long? Double sided tape from FashionTape.com may be the perfect solution. Let’s take a look at how to do a quick hem that will stay throughout the day, but come off when you need it to.
Once you have measured how far up you want your hem to go, turn the hem inside out.
Peel off the cut liner.
Place sticky side down around the top of the hem.
Remove the other side of the liner.
Turn the hem back around and stick it to the inside of the fabric.
Adjust as needed. When everything is where you want them to be, press firmly along the tape to set in place.
That’s all it takes to do a quick hem that will stay where you need it to without a sewing machine or damaging the clothing in any way.
